Heels

This outfit is what i wore last Sunday, I did nothing special but I was very proud of this outfit because I have finally incorporated high heeled shoes into normal everyday outfits! This is just a small step for me but a big leap for my style! I <3 SHOES yay xx. You see, I am only twelve and I'm probably quite young to be wearing high heeled shoes just normally, thank the heavens my mum is relaxed about my style, but anyway let us get on with this post sister Thilde (I'm in a bit of a random mood.)

^ me looking oh so not cool
^ and again in this one
^ oh the shame he he he
^ these are some of my favoured brooches, the top blue one is from Russia
the orange one is labled in an other post and its from the bluecoat in
Liverpool and the one with a face on is david bowie, my mum got it from
his concert that she went to and its also the cover of Hunky Dory, one of
                                                            his albums.

Quirky Colours

I know, I know,  I'm so terrible I haven't posted for days but I suppose I should just get on with this post anyway. The other day I was feeling colourful, and a bit bored, so i took some photos but I really couldn't be bothered to sort out a full outfit so this is just accessories . . .
sorry about the mess that is my hair blah
the big gold and black one on the bottom I nicked from my sister, (in my cutest voice) "thank you Georgi :)", and its from Primark and the top one is my mums (the chunky gold band)  from this woven basket with all her old jewellry from the eighties.
this pretty venetian mask is my sisters, which again I borrowed but she found out about this and shouted at me, this was a gift for her from my auntie joan on her travels.
with these brooches I couldn't pick one of them so I paired them together, the orange one with buttons is mine and i bought it from the blue coat, in liverpool, and the sparkly one at the back is my auntie Madge's.
this is a big piece of ribbon I found in my house.
a random piece of material that i scrunched up and put in my hair
I'm so sorry but I really wanted to put that bow from before on my head, it is cleverly balanced by a hair pin.

That Christmas Feeling

Ahhhh Christmas. You know that its in the air when everyones board in P.E so they start singing Walking in a Winter Wonderland instead of cheering for their unfortunate team-mates that have been made to play hand ball, and then your fat P.E teacher ( what is the deal with fat P.E teachers, you'd think that they would be thin) notices and puts you all on a detention because you go to a jewish school.

Winter Wonderland made me think of the Chanel  A/W collection

And then when i was looking at the Chanel pics on the website this absolutely
goregus ice-cube bag came up, is't it just the cutest most winteriest bag that you
ever layed your lucky eyes on, and it's such a simple idea I bet theres about a
million people out there right now thinking- 'why didn't I think of that ??', and
if you are one of those people I completely agree with you, but I'm not sure
that we could sue because, one- theres probably too many of us to count and two
I don't think that I thought of it first would count as valid evidence in court, trust
me I've tried that one before and I can tell you now, not a good idea. Anyways I
thought that I might as well have a go at the wintery outfits, sorry i don't have a
good camera or a background that looks remotely like ice or snow. . .
the blue wall will have to do instead

^ these pictures are special, I managed to find an
app that made me look like I was in Narnia!
                                                            YAY!!
I have many shirts on but one is from my mums
college one is a hand-me-down and one was
from a second-hand shop. slip/dress is my mums.
shoes, are my sisters from h&m fur coat is vintage
belt was from a charity shop (second-hand shop)

the silver eye shadow has been in my draw for ages but
I've never used it and i thought that this could be my
chance since it sort of goes with the Narnia theme.
please do tell your christmassie feelings or if you are a different religion please tell about what holiday you celebrate around the christmas period or a holiday that is like your christmas

Yours Faithfully

Thilde xx

P.S        I welcome all comments, thank you and hope to hear from you all soon xx

The 70s and Brazil

Today in school all the lessons collapsed
so we had to do something different,
and instead of doing something like art
music or ict i had to do dance, and
my day was spent learning to samba,
                                                                                                                           whoop-di-do (i'm not a big sports fan)
and apparently that dance comes from
Brazil. I've got no idea why we did it on
Brazil i mean its not as if anyone there
comes from Brazil or that we live in Brazil
or that we go to a Brazilian school or that
we live in a mostly Brazilian area i mean
its a jewish school in a jewish area in
in England something tells me that we
should be learning about judaism and not
Brazil. Anyway enough with my rant now you
know about my day i'll tell you why i've got
70s things all over my wall as well, in  dance
they made us wear looked like we'd just stepped
out of an abba video which isn't a bad thing
for me but for everyone else . . .  and
then i couldn't get 70s fever out of my head.

Starry Starry Night

Sorry, I've got the worst camera in the world,
but anyway this is meant to be me in a very dark
outfit, I think that I'm being influenced by the
short days and long dark nights.
this is my brides maids dress from a couple of years ago at my cousins wedding
this is the pattern on the side of the shirt-dress that I'm wearing
but you couldn't see it very clearly on the picture so
her it is close up, Its my mums and I've got no idea where she got it from
this is the belt that i was wearing in the photo, it was a hand-me-down
so i don't know where it was from either
and last but not least these are the shoes,
they are my mums and from urban outfitters.
